Thursday afternoon: right side, top, sharp pain

Saturday evening and all day Sunday: Dull headache, all day, took motrin around 7pm, felt fine afterwards. drank lots of water, ate well (but not home cooked food as we were away in marblehead). can't figure it out.

today

another one today, on the right side, at the top, circling around to the back - sharp pain - this was around 11:25 and lasted about 10 minutes.

in a long time

first headache in a long time - Saturday night (March 8) around 10pm...sharp, on left side, top. Lasted about 8-10 minutes.

dull gone, sharp back

dull headaches gone for now.
today, 3:07 - a sharp headache, top right. gone in 5 minutes.

ended up taking a motrin on sunday for headache. yuck.

yesterday, dull headache on and off all day. can't tell what this might be related to.

this morning, yes, dull headache. still not entirely gone, but on and off. not too bad though. think this might have something to do with staring at a computer screen for too long....

yesterday, intense headache on right side - sharp pain, lasting only about 2 minutes. around 3pm (yes, had breakfast - cereal and fish for lunch)

today - all day dull headache, mostly on back of head, but sometimes just on right. ate well today, although woke up late and had to skip breakfast - first meal was at 12:30pm.

Headache today: right side, back. 1:38pm. this one feels different (milder) than the others.
Last day of period. Not sure what this could be related to - had a good and early lunch (unforunately had to skip breakfast - no food at home!), normal water intake.

Diary

Last week I had a doctor's appointment. Regular physical, no big drama. Then when she was trying to explain the pros and cons of The Pill, she said one big con is the migraines associated with it. And I interrupted her immediately - "Oh, I forgot to tell you. I've been getting these sharp headaches recently, and they only last for about 5 or 10 minutes each time." "Thats odd. Where are they?" "Both sides, near the back." "That's even odder."

So, I've been asked to keep a diary of my headaches. And since I never have the same notebook with me, I decided it would be a blog to make my life that much easier in the midst of my dissertation, wedding planning, job negotiations, and stuff.

I should have started this on V's day, but I'm a bit late so here goes.

February 14: 1:10pm. Sharp pain, top right.

February 15: 7:35am. Top right, further back than yesterday. Sharp pain.

February 16: 9am. Left side, back. Very sharp.

February 17: First day of cycle. No headache.

February 18. No headache. Woo hoo!
